Copenhagen Atomics is developing a new generation of nuclear reactors designed to provide safe, efficient, and cost-effective energy. Our technology has the potential to significantly change the global energy sector and contribute to a future of abundant, low-carbon energy.

As a company, we value curiosity, flexibility, being self-driven, and the ability to collaborate across disciplines. We encourage our employees to take ownership of their work and to grow both personally and professionally.

Department

You will be a key player in our “Sensors and Electronics team”, which develops and produces electronics for our molten salt reactors and other systems.

This role owns the supply of our current electronics products – keeping repeat orders, purchasing, build/assembly and test running smoothly. This role offers a mix of practical build and assembly work, along with coordination of the supply chain.

You’ll play an important role in

  • Managing repeat orders for our current open- and closed source electronics products, and coordinating purchasing, build/assembly and test to fulfil them.
  • Tracking real stock levels across our kanban warehouse and forecasting demand to ensure electronics are always available.
  • Physically assembling hardware for existing product lines.
  • Maintaining our 3D printers, keeping them calibrated and production-ready.

To succeed in the role, you

  • Hold a background as an Electronic Technician, or equivalent practical experience; a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a technical subject is a plus.
  • Have solid practical experience from work or private projects, ideally with assembly, disassembly or repair of hardware, and enjoy hands-on bench work.
  • Are organised enough to keep multiple products and orders on track, get them on the shelves on time, and stay flexible as priorities shift in a startup environment.
  • Have some knowledge of Python programming (a plus).
