Join us at Copenhagen Atomics as we finish building a functioning thorium molten salt reactor.
Copenhagen Atomics is developing a new kind of nuclear reactor designed to deliver low-cost, abundant energy at global scale. We believe in showing real hardware, real numbers, and real progress.
As a company, we value curiosity, flexibility, initiative, and people who can turn ideas into execution without waiting around for permission.
Department:
We are looking for a Video Editor / Animator to join our new and growing presence in Zug, Switzerland.
Our main engineering and workshop activities are based in Copenhagen, where we have built a strong team of engineers, technicians, and specialists working hands-on with reactor technology. At the same time, we are now expanding and establishing a new department in Zug. This means you would not only join Copenhagen Atomics, but also be among the early people shaping something new.
Your role will be to help us communicate complex technology clearly and beautifully through video. Some of the material will be filmed internally or by external production partners, and you will be responsible for turning it into sharp, engaging, high-quality content. Animation skills are important, because many of the things we build are easier to explain visually than verbally. Skills using AI tools to speed up production, make animations or AI generated videos or voice is a must in this role.
You’ll play an important role in:
- Editing video content for company communication, branding, recruitment, and commercial use
- Creating animated explainers and visualizations of technical concepts
- Turning raw footage into clear and compelling stories
- Working with colleagues to communicate technical ideas in a simple and visually strong way
- Maintaining a high standard of visual quality and consistency across content
- Collaborating with external filming or production partners when relevant
To succeed in the role, you:
- Have a strong portfolio that shows real editing and animation work
- Have proven experience in using AI tools to create CGI, artificial speaking and animations.
- Care more about the quality of the output than titles or credentials
- Can make technical or complex topics understandable without making them boring
- Have good taste, strong judgment, and attention to structure and detail
- Are comfortable working independently and managing projects from raw material to final delivery
- Can adapt your style depending on whether the audience is technical, commercial, or public-facing
- Are excited about helping build the visual language of a serious deep-tech company
Additional information & Next Step:
This role is based in Zug, Switzerland, in our newly developing department. You will be part of a small team there, with the opportunity to help shape the way the department grows from the beginning. There will also be opportunities to visit our main facility in Copenhagen and see where the hardware is built and tested.
