Join us at Copenhagen Atomics as we finish building a functioning thorium molten salt reactor.
Copenhagen Atomics has invented a new form of nuclear reactor, which is significantly more efficient than any previous nuclear reactors. This will be a game changer for the global energy sector. Our reactors will be able to provide energy at lower cost than any other technology (including fusion).
Department:
Our new Project Manager will join our Fuel Salt Production facility (production unit). This is likely to be the largest nuclear molten salt production unit in the world in five years from today, and with the highest quality too.
We have already run ton-scale production for several years, and have worked on this technology for more than ten years. The goal is to increase production output to several million DKK per day.
When processing molten salts containing thorium and uranium, there are a lot of requirements, procedures and documentation, which need to be in place and managed. It is your job to lead the approval processes, documentation, safety and make sure that the rest of the team comply with the processes, requirements and data registration.
You’ll play an important role in:
- Making sure we get various approvals from Danish and international authorities
- Further professionalize and streamline Copenhagen Atomics’ efforts when applying various approvals
- Coordinating with various departments and making sure they deliver required documentation within deadlines
To succeed in the role, you:
- Bring at least five years of experience from a similar role, ideally from a highly regulated industry such as nuclear, pharmaceuticals, oil/ gas
- Work with a high degree of detail and overview
- Can inspire colleagues
- Organize the input from all the different colleagues who need to deliver parts of the information for the applications and documentation
- Are able to plan and execute projects on time
Additional information:
Innovation is at the forefront of our culture and drives us to achieve our goals. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on groundbreaking technologies with the potential to make a significant impact on the world.
Based in Copenhagen, we are an international team of over 60 engineers, technicians, designers, and more who are in the process of developing a new, low-cost, abundant, sustainable, and safe nuclear technology to be manufactured on assembly lines in the future.
