Join us at Copenhagen Atomics as we finish building a functioning thorium molten salt reactor.

Copenhagen Atomics has invented a new form of nuclear reactor, which is significantly more efficient than any previous nuclear reactors. This will be a game changer for the global energy sector. Our reactors will be able to provide energy at lower cost than any other technology (including fusion).

As a company, we value curiosity, flexibility, being self-driven, yet able to collaborate, and the possibility to grow as a person and professional.

Department:

The department for Reactor Approval is hiring a professional with several years of experience managing regulatory compliance and documentation of complex systems in the nuclear industry.

We are in the process of writing licensing documentation for our nuclear reactor. Several thousand pages have been written already, and additional documents and additional details have to be written and processed to make sure nothing is forgotten or misrepresented.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • Writing licensing documents in the best possible way to minimize the timeline to receive approvals from authorities.
  • Help review documents written by team members to ensure consistency across all 3–4000 pages.
  • Bring experience from other areas of the nuclear industry to a team of physicists and engineers who are experts in thorium molten salt reactor design.
  • Licensing a new nuclear technology, which is likely to alter global history forever.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • Show interest in learning how a new and very different reactor design works and implementing safety.
  • Have an understanding of complex systems and can engage with the technical experts, who have unique knowledge about each part.
  • Have excellent written English skills.
  • Are willing to develop yourself as a professional and are flexible to take new roles as Copenhagen Atomics grows.

Additional information & Next Step:

Innovation is at the forefront of our culture and drives us to achieve our goals. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on groundbreaking technologies with the potential to make a significant impact on the world.

Based in Copenhagen, we are an international team of over 60 engineers, technicians, designers, and more who are in the process of developing a new, low-cost, abundant, sustainable, and safe nuclear technology to be manufactured on assembly lines in the future.
