Join us at Copenhagen Atomics as we finish building a functioning thorium molten salt reactor.

Copenhagen Atomics has invented a new form of nuclear reactor, which is significantly more efficient than any previous nuclear reactors. This will be a game changer for the global energy sector. Our reactors will be able to provide energy at lower cost than any other technology (including fusion).

You will be a key player in our advanced testing team, developing and testing molten salt loops for in-house tests and our customers. The loop team plays a pivotal role in Copenhagen Atomics as most essential components are tested here. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to engage in the entire value chain from development to testing. This role offers the perfect mix of practical build and assembly work, as well as providing critical design feedback for our technology development.

As a company, we value curiosity, flexibility, being self-driven, yet able to collaborate, and the possibility to grow as a person and professional.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • Build, test and development of molten salt loops.
  • Collaborating with a world-class team on molten salt technology.
  • Organizing tests and commissioning for our in-house tests and external collaborations. Travel time can occur.
  • Engaging in the entire value chain from development to testing.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Technology Management and Marine Engineering or a related field, with 0-5 years of relevant experience. Additionally, one could also come from a background as an Electrician or Automation Technician.
  • Have solid practical experience from work or private projects, ideally with assembly, disassembly or repair of machinery.
  • Have a broad technical knowledge on mechanical, electrical and automation systems.

Additional information:

Innovation is at the forefront of our culture and drives us to achieve our goals. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on groundbreaking technologies with the potential to make a significant impact on the world.

Based in Copenhagen, we are an international team of over 60 engineers, technicians, designers, and more who are in the process of developing a new, low-cost, abundant, sustainable, and safe nuclear technology to be manufactured on assembly lines in the future.
