Join us at Copenhagen Atomics as we finish building a functioning thorium molten salt reactor.
Copenhagen Atomics has invented a new form of nuclear reactor, which is significantly more efficient than any previous nuclear reactors. This will be a game changer for the global energy sector. Our reactors will be able to provide energy at lower cost than any other technology (including fusion).
Department:
This is a cross-department role, and we are therefore looking for someone who is a strong relations builder, and someone who can interact with numerous departments in Copenhagen Atomics. You will be responsible for ordering and managing shipping globally, inbound and outbound, from our facility in Copenhagen. You will work with companies such as DHL, DSV, Maersk, etc. to plan and order shipping. You will also be responsible for packing and documentation around dangerous goods.
You will help our sales- and services departments with ordering shipping, and figure out details related to insurance communication with our counterpart (the source or destination).
In addition to shipping-related tasks, you will help colleagues in various departments reordering parts from existing suppliers in our network. Typically reordering is quick, but shipping and payment and other details are the majority of the task related to reordering from existing suppliers and coordination with our other teams.
You will report to our VP of materials.
You’ll play an important role in:
- Ordering and handling shipping globally
- Centralizing our shipping efforts, including understanding how we ship goods in the correct way
To succeed in the role, you:
- Come from a similar background, ideally from a small company that ship dangerous goods, and have obtained certifications and courses within dangerous goods
- Are able to build a network internally in order to help various departments
- Can help us make shipping activities more efficient and accurate
- Take on other tasks from colleagues in the organization who need your help
Additional information:
Innovation is at the forefront of our culture and drives us to achieve our goals. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on groundbreaking technologies with the potential to make a significant impact on the world.
