Join us at Copenhagen Atomics as we finish building a functioning thorium molten salt reactor.
Copenhagen Atomics is developing a new kind of nuclear reactor designed to deliver low-cost energy at global scale. We are building a company around real technology, real economics, and a manufacturing model we believe can change the energy industry.
To do that at speed, we need strong people who know how to attract and secure capital.
Department:
We are looking for an experienced Investment Manager to join our new and growing department in Zug, Switzerland.
This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone who has already worked with serious fundraising, investor relations, capital raising, or strategic finance and who has a strong record of real results.
Your primary task will be to help identify, engage, develop, and secure investors capable of participating at a meaningful scale. In practice, that means building relationships, qualifying interest, structuring conversations, following long processes, and helping move capital from initial attention to actual commitment.
You will work closely with our CEO as our investment team raises hundreds of millions of dollars over the next few years. Ideally you should have experience in raising capital for technology startup companies.
You’ll play an important role in:
- Identifying and developing relationships with relevant investors
- Supporting and driving fundraising efforts and investor outreach
- Managing long-cycle investor dialogues from first contact to closing
- Helping shape investor materials, positioning, and communication
- Working closely with leadership on capital strategy and fundraising priorities
- Qualifying opportunities and focusing effort where the probability of outcome is strongest
- Representing Copenhagen Atomics professionally and convincingly in high-stakes conversations
To succeed in the role, you:
- Have significant relevant experience in fundraising, investment, investor relations, private capital, or similar fields
- Have a documented record of strong results
- Are comfortable operating in conversations where deal sizes are measured in multi-millions
- Can build trust with sophisticated counterparties
- Are commercially sharp, persistent, and good at reading people and incentives
- Can handle long, complex processes without losing momentum
- Understand that raising capital is part strategy, part persistence, and part credibility
- Ideally have experience from deep-tech, energy, infrastructure, industrial projects, or other technically demanding sectors
Additional information & Next Step:
