We are looking for a part-time Event Manager Assistant to support our Event Manager in planning and executing events.
This role is ideal for a student or early-career candidate who is highly reliable, structured, and not afraid to take initiative. You do not need to know everything from day one, but you do need to be the kind of person others can depend on.
You will help keep the details under control, follow up on practical tasks, coordinate information, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. We are looking for someone who notices things, acts on them, and takes pride in doing the small things well.
You’ll play an important role in:
- Supporting the planning and coordination of company events
- Following up on bookings, timelines, suppliers, logistics, and practical details
- Helping prepare schedules, checklists, guest information, and event materials
- Assisting with communication and coordination before, during, and after events
- Keeping track of tasks and making sure deadlines are not missed
- Helping create structure around many parallel moving parts
To succeed in the role, you:
- Are highly reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented
- Are proactive and comfortable taking action without needing constant direction
- Can organize information and keep overview even when things move fast
- Have good judgment and trust your instincts
- Communicate clearly and professionally
- Are likely to stay with us for some time; if you are a student, ideally you have at least 1.5 years left of your studies
- Have previous experience with coordination, events, hospitality, student organizations, administration, or similar work
