Join us at Copenhagen Atomics as we finish building a functioning thorium molten salt reactor.

Copenhagen Atomics is developing a new kind of nuclear reactor designed to deliver abundant, low-cost energy at global scale. We are building real hardware, running real tests, and solving hard engineering problems with a very hands-on team.

As a company, we value curiosity, flexibility, honesty, initiative, and the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with others.

Department:

We are looking for an experienced Event Manager to take ownership of our events and make them run exceptionally well from start to finish.

This is not a role for someone who likes making PowerPoints about events. It is for someone who knows how to actually make them happen. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, booking, and executing events that reflect who we are as a company: ambitious, technical, bold, and human.

A large part of the role will be centered around major recurring events, but you will also support smaller events, visits, internal gatherings, and special occasions when needed. The goal is simple: create events that people remember, while making sure everything works in practice.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • Planning and executing large-scale events from idea to completion
  • Managing timelines, budgets, logistics, bookings, vendors, and schedules
  • Coordinating speakers, guests, suppliers, venues, catering, travel, and on-site flow
  • Making sure events run smoothly, look sharp, and stay on track
  • Working closely with leadership and internal teams to turn ideas into reality
  • Continuously improving how we plan and deliver events at Copenhagen Atomics

To succeed in the role, you:

  • Have strong previous experience planning and running larger events
  • Are highly organized and reliable under pressure
  • Can keep many moving parts under control without losing attention to detail
  • Are proactive, practical, and comfortable making decisions on your own
  • Understand that a great event is both a creative and operational exercise
  • Are comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where things evolve quickly
  • Care about quality, atmosphere, timing, and execution

Additional information & Next Step:

Innovation is at the forefront of our culture and drives us to achieve our goals. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on technology with the potential to make a meaningful impact on the world.

Based in Copenhagen, we are an international team of engineers, technicians, designers, operators, and builders working on a new generation of nuclear technology designed to be low-cost, scalable, and manufacturable.

If you believe this position could be of interest to you, please send us your CV together with a short note about why you are relevant for the role and examples of events you have worked on.
