Join us at Copenhagen Atomics as we finish building a functioning thorium molten salt reactor.

Copenhagen Atomics is building real nuclear hardware, but good engineering also depends on good systems, good information flow, and less wasted manual work.

We are looking for someone who wants to use AI and automation in practical ways that make colleagues more effective, reduce repetitive work, and improve how the company operates day to day.

As a company, we value initiative, speed, first-principles thinking, and people who build useful things instead of talking endlessly about them.

Department:

This role is based in our new and growing department in Zug, Switzerland.

Our main engineering activities are centered in Copenhagen, where we have built a large hands-on technical team and workshop environment. We are now expanding with a new department in Zug, and this role will be an important part of that build-out from the start.

The work will vary project by project. One month you may be building workflows for lead generation or internal reporting. Another month you may be creating AI-assisted tools for document handling, CRM structure, information tracking, dashboards, or internal support systems. The common theme is that your work should save time, improve clarity, and make other people more effective.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • Building automations that remove repetitive manual work across teams
  • Creating AI-based internal tools, workflows, dashboards, and support systems
  • Connecting data from different systems and making it usable in one place
  • Helping colleagues adopt useful AI tools and workflows in their daily work
  • Identifying inefficiencies and building practical solutions to solve them
  • Supporting a broad mix of internal projects depending on company needs

To succeed in the role, you:

  • Have built real things and can show them
  • Have experience with automations, AI tools, workflow systems, or internal software tools
  • Are comfortable moving between problem definition, implementation, and iteration
  • Can work across technical and non-technical teams
  • Prefer practical solutions over overengineered systems
  • Are curious and adaptable, since the role will evolve over time
  • May also have useful adjacent skills such as frontend, UI, integrations, scripting, or light product thinking

Additional information & Next Step:

This role is based in Zug, Switzerland, where you would join a small team at the beginning of a new department. There will also be opportunities to visit our main facility in Copenhagen to better understand the people, systems, and technical environment your work will support.

Copenhagen Atomics is an international team developing a new generation of nuclear technology to make energy cheaper, more abundant, and more scalable.

If you believe this position could be of interest to you, please send us your CV, a short note about your motivation, your github account and examples of systems, automations, or tools you have built.
